ADDITIONAL DETAILS

WALKTHROUGH

The SX design is the most sought-after model of the ever popular Eastbay 43 series with fully enclosed upper salon deck and lavish teak interior finish. She is totally wide open, light and airy over the galley. She has a very spacious 2 stateroom layout with large head and separate shower. The forward master stateroom features a very comfortable Island queen berth, overhead hatch for natural light and ventilation, hull side opening ports and plentiful storage.

BONGO offers a large aft cockpit with integrated aft-facing seating, 3 large cockpit storage hatches under her deck, transom door to the teak swim platform and swim ladder. Her wide side decks have additional stainless steel handrails for greater safety and non-skid Awlgrip over white fiberglass decks, same as the foredeck, to provide an excellent non-skid surface and eliminate glare from the cabin top. The foredeck features an electric windlass, heavy-duty stainless-steel bow sprit/anchor roller, anchor and two (2) lockers. A freshwater washdown is located in the port locker.

Centerline double doors provide entry to the salon with her beautiful teak and holly sole. Grand Banks’ exceptional workmanship is highlighted by her interior joinery accented by white bulkheads. On the port side, Ultra-Suede upholstery finishes the straight settee in the upper salon with storage below. There is a hi-lo teak table with two (2) folding leaves for dining. The starboard side has a teak cabinet which houses the Fusion Stereo System.

The helm area is forward and to starboard in the salon featuring a STIDD helmseat with footrest and teak-rimmed GB stainless steel destroyer wheel. To port just behind the chart table is a double fixed companion bench seat.  Under this companion seat is a built-in storage cabinet. BONGO offers outstanding visibility and easy operation of all navigational equipment, along with nice sight lines to make operating her very easy.

Large 360-degree windows around the salon provide natural light and ventilation. Two (2) overhead hatches with Oceanair Skyscreens provide additional light and air. The center windshield opens as well.

From the salon and helm area, take a couple of steps down to access the port galley. The galley is open to the salon above creating a light and airy feeling.

The galley is U-shaped and well equipped with a 12 volt refrigerator/freezer with teak door, electric cooktop, microwave/convection oven, Silestone countertops, stainless steel double basin sink, retractable faucet and ample storage.

The guest stateroom is to starboard with upper and lower single berths, each with reading lamps. There are four drawers, storage under the lower berth, opening port with screen, hanging locker with teak louvered door, and a teak sliding door for privacy. The upper berth can slide outboard for more space.

Forward is the extremely comfortable master stateroom with a centerline queen berth, two reading lamps, two opening ports, one large hatch, and Flatscreen TV.  An abundance of storage is offered in two hanging lockers, two drawers, two lockers beside the berth and six lockers outboard of the berth.

The head to port features a sliding teak door for privacy, teak and holly sole, freshwater Vacuflush marine toilet, vanity with Corian countertop and sink, mirror and storage space behind the teak sliding doors and above the countertop. There is a Tank Watch 4 holding tank monitor, vent fan, toilet off/on switch (off for quiet at night), large doored storage cabinet with shelves on the aft bulkhead, and an opening overhead hatch with Oceanair Skyscreen.

The separate shower to starboard features a teak paneled entrance door, tiled floor, handheld shower fixture, shower curtain, built-in shower seat, a port window with screen, and an overhead hatch with Oceanair Skyscreen. There is a doored storage cabinet with shelves behind the shower seat. The shower drain is stainless covered and drains into a sump with automatic pump.
