Raymond Hunt Associates, was simple, “increase the waterline length”. The result will be improved performance, increased speed, better rough water comfort and increased distances between fuel stops.
Already a “Hunt” hull, Halcyon is one of only eight Grand Banks Eastbay 58’s ever built. Even more rare is the 1550hp CAT C-30 engines that push our 94,000#+ motor yacht. Now with the almost 5’ hull extension and a custom Martha Coolidge Design interior, Halcyon is truly a one of a kind. A Yachtsman’s Yacht.
Performance was improved across the spectrum. With a lower bow rise and better rough water handling, the new Halcyon’s extended hull resulted in better fuel efficiency, increased top speed of 34.7 knots and over 1 mile to the gallon at trawler speed.
