OVERVIEW
The owners of Rambler bought her in 2001, a mere two years and 100 engine hours after the boat was delivered new to the original owner. Purchased in Virginia, the owners ran her north to their yacht club in Westport, Ct, where Rambler has remained for the last 23 years, while wintering out of the water in a shed in a local Ct shipyard.
Rambler is the very popular Classic model, with a large main salon and up galley, and it's two staterooms and en-suite heads are at opposite ends of the yacht providing maximum privacy. The boat has been used mostly as a weekend cruiser, visiting harbors on both coasts of Long Island Sound, which accounts for the modest 1,768 engine hrs on her vastly preferred Cat 3208 375HP twin engines. The user friendly path to the flybridge leads to a big wonderful space whether just driving (and where most do drive) or enjoying guests at a mooring under the extended bimini. It's really where everyone wants to be!
This is an extraordinarily beautiful, well maintained Grand Banks 42. Rambler has been meticulously cared for during the last 24 years and is ready for her new owners. She is in a shed in Milford, Ct, until the spring, but can and should be seen to be appreciated.
