David Sampson is an accomplished yacht broker and professional yachtsman with more than two decades of experience in yacht sales, management, and racing. As Sales Director at Vicsail, he has overseen new and brokerage yacht transactions across Australia and New Zealand, representing world-renowned brands such as Nautor Swan, CNB, Vicem, McConaghy, and Leonardo Yachts. He has also founded Tower Marine Management, specializing in yacht construction, refit, management, and race preparation in Australia, the USA, and Europe—giving him a comprehensive understanding of the brokerage process from build to sale.

Alongside his brokerage expertise, David has logged over 40,000 sea miles as a professional yachtsman, with career highlights that include 15 Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races, multiple Rolex regattas, an Admiral’s Cup victory, and competing in the America’s Cup. His technical background as a composite shipwright and his hands-on knowledge of both racing and cruising yachts allow him to guide clients with unmatched insight—whether commissioning a new build, handling a complex international transaction, or preparing a yacht for peak performance on the water.
