Boating has been a passion of mine since childhood. I grew up fishing the Eastern Seaboard from points North off of Cape Cod to the Florida Keys.
My formative years include working in a tackle and boating dealership for one the country’s most renowned giant bluefin tuna fishermen. After high school, I attended and graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy. I obtained my captain’s license while in the Academy. I worked summers as an assistant Harbormaster performing search and rescue and river patrol on the Merrimack River in Newburyport, Massachusetts. After graduation, I worked in engineering and consulting for approximately 9 years. Realizing my true passion is boating, I decided to work as a San Diego yacht broker.
